| Recreation / Vacationing / Entertainment: Vacationing during the offseason is generally less expensive. It also gives you a higher negotiating power. Since many airlines and hotels are short on customers during certain times of the year, they are more willing to offer discounts. Don't be afraid to ask for a discount before making your reservation.

| Auto: When approaching a hill, accelerate slightly, but do not speed up as you ascend the hill. Instead, maintain a consistent speed before coasting down the other side.

| Auto: When beneficial, work near where you live to reduce travel costs. Not only will you save money on gas, but your vehicle will last longer. Sometimes, however, this is not the most cost effective option. At times a neighboring community will have much lower living expenses, so research the costs before decided where to live and work.

| Consider This: When buying something, consider your motives. Are you making this purchase to keep up with the Joneses? Is it for temporary happiness or out of boredom? Do not carelessly spend your money. Instead, understand your motives and be certain they are the proper ones. Your purchases should line up with your goals and values. If they do not, you should not be making them.

Time Saving Tips |
| Work: If someone else has too much work and you have a spare minute, offer to help. You never know when you will be the one in need of assistance. This attitude also helps to develop and strengthen team spirit in the office.

| Consider This: If something distracts you, avoid it. Distractions can increase stress and decrease efficiency.
|
| Cleaning: If you are picking out an indoor dog, select a breed which does not shed heavily. If you choose one that does shed, you may need to sweep every day. Consider only allowing the dog in one or two rooms, or keep it outside.

| Cleaning: If you don't use something that collects dust, get rid of it. This could include things such as an extra desk or bookshelf. You will save time cleaning and could earn money selling the item.

| Consider This: If you find following a schedule difficult, set an alarm to notify you of when you must switch tasks.
